Video tutorial

To remove the ventilation grilles on a Renault Scenic 3, turn off the vehicle and locate the grille in question. Use a plastic trim removal tool and gently insert it between the vent frame and the dashboard.

Carefully lever to progressively release the retaining clips, avoiding the use of metal tools that could scratch the surfaces. Once the frame is free, extract the grille from its housing while keeping it as horizontal as possible.

If the vent is connected to any controls or lighting, disconnect the relevant connectors before fully removing it. For reassembly, reposition the grille in its housing and press along the perimeter until all clips snap into place. Finally, check that the air direction vanes move freely.
