How to Remove the Air Conditioning Unit from the Renault Megane Model I

Today, learn how to remove the air conditioning unit from the Renault Megane Model I, produced from 1995 to 2003. To remove the air conditioning unit, use a flathead screwdriver to insert it into the upper corner of the central dashboard cover. To avoid scratching the bodywork, use a plastic trim removal tool. After removing the central part, disconnect the connector for the air conditioning fans and the resistor. Remove the unit and replace it by reversing the procedure.
