How to locate the accessory socket fuse in a Renault Megane?

In a Renault Megane, the fuse for the accessory socket (12V socket or cigarette lighter) is located in the internal fuse box, situated in the driver's side cabin, near the dashboard. To access it, open the side or lower panel on the driver's side; some versions require removing a small push cover.

Inside, you will find a series of numbered fuses. Consult the diagram on the cover or in the vehicle manual to locate the one dedicated to the accessory socket, generally indicated as "Power Outlet", "Accessories", or "12V". Once identified, you can easily replace it with a fuse of the same amperage.
