The fuse of the cigarette lighter socket on a Renault Mégane mk3 model vehicle is located inside the fuse box located in the passenger compartment. To access the fuse box and therefore replace the cigarette lighter socket fuse, it is necessary to remove the driver's glove compartment.

Using a needle-nose pliers, we remove the 10-amp fuse F3. We replace it with a fuse of the same amperage in order to not damage the socket. If the cigarette lighter socket continues to malfunction, it is necessary to check the condition of the internal connectors of the socket.
