To replace the gear knob of the Renault Clio, simply grasp the knob and pull it upwards, disengaging it from the gear lever. At this point, detach the retaining clips located at the base of the leather gaiter housing. This will allow you to lift and remove the gaiter from the lever. A new leather gaiter can then be fitted around the lever and secured with the appropriate clips. Once the gaiter is in place, you can position the new knob on the end of the lever.
