Operation: How to reset the service light on the Renault Scenic

The service light does not indicate an engine failure or, in general, an imminent danger to the overall reliability of the vehicle. In fact, its main task is to warn any motorist of the need to carry out routine maintenance on the car once a certain number of kilometers have been traveled. To reset and eliminate this warning light it is necessary to stop the engine and keep the ignition button pressed for about 10 seconds without pressing the brake or clutch pedals. Immediately afterwards, press one of the two buttons located at the end of the right steering lever several times. As soon as a new message appears on the display, press and hold the same button for another 10 seconds. The reset is complete.
