How to replace the battery of a Renault Twingo 2 1.2 gasoline.

Model: Renault Twingo Twingo 2 - Years 2007-2014
Part: Battery

In this video tutorial, we are shown how to replace the exhausted battery of a Renault Twingo 2 car with a 1.2-liter gasoline engine. First, we open the car hood and secure it by fixing it with the appropriate rod. Then, we locate the battery, which is on the right side of the engine compartment, and remove its cover. To do this, we lift the plastic tab to unlock the support tabs. Using a 10 socket wrench, we unlock the negative pole clamp first, and then the positive pole clamp. Finally, we unscrew the power cable locking nuts. We then remove the power cables, use a 13 socket wrench to unscrew the battery support plate, and proceed to remove the battery. We clean the terminal grid with sandpaper and insert the new battery into the appropriate compartment. We fix the support plate and connect the terminals and power supply.

Follow these steps: open the car door and pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, then lift the front bonnet, disengaging the locking lever with your fingers. Secure it with the prop rod. Once the engine compartment is open, you will find the battery to be replaced on the right. Use a socket spanner to unscrew the securing bolts of the battery terminals and disconnect the locking plate (if present). Remove the old battery and fit a new one, tightening the power terminals.
