Removing and Cleaning the EGR Valve

Model: Renault Clio Clio 2, MK 2 - Years 1998-2005
Part: EGR valve

The EGR valve is located under the airbox, so you need to remove it by lifting it and disconnecting the intake hose. The valve is in the indicated position. To remove it, disconnect the wires and unscrew the 10mm nuts securing it. To extract it, gently tap it with a wooden wedge. Shake and pull to detach it. The valve in the video is quite dirty. Clean it with petrol or carburettor cleaner and do the same with its seat. If necessary, the valve can be replaced. Refit it and reconnect the wires. At this point, you can reassemble everything else.
