Renault Clio - Video tutorial
Model: Renault Clio
Clio 2, MK 2
- Years 1998-2005 The EGR valve has the function of reintroducing part of the exhaust gases back into the combustion cycle in order to lower the temperature and reduce NOx emissions: precisely because through the exhaust gases (often containing residues of oil and diesel) it tends to get dirty until it becomes clogged as happens to the pipe that connects the exhaust manifold to the valve. A complete job must therefore include cleaning both the valve and the aforementioned duct. Once the plastic cover of the engine and the air filter container have been removed, it is possible to access the EGR valve to be able to disassemble it: once the fixing nuts have been unscrewed, it must be extracted from its seat using a screwdriver and hammer carefully; then move on to disassembling the duct and then cleaning it using the specific detergent. Once cleaning is complete, reassemble everything in reverse order.

Frequently Asked QuestionsFiat Ducato 2.8 JTD gearbox oil replacementLet's see in this guide the main steps to be able to change the transmission oil of the second series Fiat Ducato, with 2.8 JTD engine. First of all we lift the car and go to locate the gear oil vent bolt, which we find near the transmission; we use a hex wrench to unscrew it, letting it drain the old oil in a container for about ten minutes. At this point we open the bonnet and remove the air intake sleeve, so as to be able to access the gearbox oil filling hole; then we fill up to the maximum level! by ScegliAuto More videos
