Replacing the rear shock absorbers is extremely simple and does not require access to the boot for removal: everything is done from the outside; lift the vehicle on the ramp and remove the rear wheel for better manoeuvrability; then remove the upper eyelet mounting pin of the shock absorber and then the lower one, which is accessed by lowering the plastic protective cover secured with plastic pressure clips; once the pins are removed, extract the old shock absorber and install the new one by reversing the process.
