Remove the affected wheel and place your vehicle on axle stands for easier access. Now, undo the bolt located at the end of the lower spring to detach the arm at the back.

Also, remove the pipes connected to the strut. Next, undo the bolts securing the strut to the hub and remove them, ensuring the hub does not fall.

Remove the wiper blades and the sealing rubber, as you will need to take off the panel between the bonnet and the windscreen. Now, you can undo the bolt at the top of the shock absorber, allowing you to extract it easily.

For reassembly, simply follow the steps in reverse.
