How to Remove the Spare Wheel from a Renault Clio IV

To remove the spare wheel from a Renault Clio IV, open the tailgate and lift the boot mat. Remove the tool kit and the plastic cover that contains it; under the cover, there is a mechanism with a knob connected to a steel cable, and you will need to unscrew the knob counterclockwise to release the wheel. Push the black handle forward to lower the spare wheel beneath the vehicle. Pull the wheel outwards and disconnect the metal cable from the support. Once the spare wheel has been used, you can fit a new one. Position the wheel on the support with the valve facing down and attach the metal cable to the wheel. Lift the wheel upwards, pulling the vertical handle until you hear a "click" of locking in the mechanism; tighten the knob clockwise and place the tools and mat back inside the boot.
