You only need an 18 mm socket spanner for this operation. Remove the wheel and undo the nut that secures one end of the shock absorber to the vehicle's chassis.

First, secure the entire suspension arm assembly to prevent it from dropping during the operation. Position the vehicle on a ramp and remove the retaining pins from the suspension arm cover.

Undo the bolt that secures the shock absorber to the steering arm using an 18 mm ratchet spanner and remove the worn suspension. Attach the new shock absorber to the base and then to the chassis.
