The cabin air filter is something you can change yourself by following the procedure outlined in this guide. It is a maintenance task that should be performed periodically, every 10,000 miles or once a year. The filter is located under the glove compartment. Remove the trim carefully, taking care of the cigarette lighter cable; no further removal is necessary. Pull the filter towards you in the same direction it is positioned. Then, insert the new air filter and simply reverse the procedure.
