How does the handbrake work on the Renault Arkana?

On the Renault Arkana, you will notice that there is no hydraulic handbrake; instead, it features an electronic handbrake that operates via a button located on the central tunnel of the car: to activate it, simply press the brake pedal and pull the button upwards.

You will see that the light on the button turns red, indicating that the handbrake is engaged; to deactivate it, press the brake pedal again and pull the button upwards once more.

This will turn off the red light and deactivate the handbrake.

How to Reset the AdBlue Warning Light on a Peugeot Boxer
