How does the handbrake work on the Renault Arkana?

On the Renault Arkana, you will notice that there is no hydraulic handbrake; instead, it features an electronic handbrake that operates via a button located on the central tunnel of the car: to activate it, simply press the brake pedal and pull the button upwards. You will see that the light on the button turns red, indicating that the handbrake is engaged; to deactivate it, press the brake pedal again and pull the button upwards once more. This will turn off the red light and deactivate the handbrake.
