When the lock of the Renault Clio model 2 needs to be replaced, you must access the boot from inside the vehicle. Get inside the vehicle and fold down the rear seats to access the boot.

Using a Torx screwdriver, unscrew the panel screws and once removed, use a flathead screwdriver to move the lock and unlock it. Once the lock is unlocked, you can remove it by disconnecting the connector and unscrewing the screws. Remove any rust around the area and install a new lock.

Then, reattach the panel and close the boot, ensuring the seat backs are raised.
