In this video, see how to change the gear knob on a Renault Clio IV. Use a plastic spatula to pry up the trim surrounding the gaiter, then lift it to reveal the ring that connects the gaiter to the knob. Carefully remove it, then pull the knob off the gear stick.

After this, take the new knob, which you might find on Amazon with code B09JNV3WS4 for £13.99, with free delivery for Prime customers. Press the knob firmly onto the stick, then reinsert the ring to connect the gaiter to the knob.

Replace the trim and the operation is complete.
