How to Replace the Oil Filter of a Renault Clio
Model: Renault Clio
MK 4, Clio 4, Clio IV
- Years 2012-2019
In this video, learn how to change the engine oil along with the appropriate filter on a Renault Clio. Lift the car on a column lift and remove the plastic undertray using a Torx screwdriver. Locate the filter cover and the bolt beneath the oil sump next to the marked X. Unscrew it with a hex or square key; this will allow the oil to drain into a container for future disposal. After allowing all the oil to drain, re-screw the bolt into the sump and move on to the oil filter. Unscrew the large black filter cover, remove the old filter, and insert the new one. Check that the cap has sealed properly onto the metal base. Finally, top up the oil reservoir with new fluid, following the manufacturer's recommendations.
