Replacing the Rocker Cover Gasket

Model: Saab 9 5 Ys3e, MK 1 - Years 1997-2010
Part: Engine

After thoroughly cleaning the gasket seating on both the cover and cylinder head sides, apply gasket sealant in the grooved areas, place the two gaskets in their respective seats on the cover, and then position the cover, tightening the corresponding fastening bolts with a properly calibrated torque wrench. With the new gasket, there will be no more oil seepage, which can not only dirty the engine but also lower the engine oil level, leading to poor lubrication and potential engine damage.
