Resetting the service light on a Seat Altea is an extremely simple and quick operation. Before doing this, ensure that you have completed all required scheduled maintenance tasks. Start by entering the cabin, then insert the key but leave it in the initial position. Next, press and hold the indicated button located in the centre of the dashboard, and simultaneously turn on the ignition. At this point, release the button, confirm the reset by turning it clockwise, and restart the vehicle.
