The engine of the Sherco SEF 300 can be completely disassembled by loosening the screws that fix the engine block to its housing, so that by disconnecting the connectors and removing all the tubes it is possible to extract the engine block: once the latter has been removed from its seat, it will be possible to proceed by unscrewing the screws that fix the cylinder to its seat, removing it completely. After removing the old cylinder, it will be possible to proceed by disconnecting the piston from the connecting rod, so that the new replacement piece can be inserted and all the disassembled components can be mounted.

How to Replace the Engine Oil and Oil Filter on an Aprilia RSV 1000

This short video will show you how to carry out the routine maintenance service by replacing the engine oil and oil filter on the Aprilia RSV 1000 motorcycle. First, place your motorcycle on the centre stand and start by unscrewing the oil drain bolt located under the engine, allowing it to drain into a container for about ten minutes; then use the appropriate tool to unscrew and remove the oil filter, replacing the cartridge with a new one as shown in the video.
