How to Reset the Service Light on a Škoda Fabia?

In the Škoda Fabia, the Service light displayed on the dashboard can be reset by holding down the 0.0 button located in the centre of the instrument panel while it is off. Once the button is held down, insert the ignition key into the lock and turn it to activate the instrument panel: wait a few seconds after turning it on, release the button, and press the one next to it with the icon of two rectangles. Pressing this button will cause the Service light to disappear completely from the dashboard, turning it off to finish.
