To replace the battery in the remote key of the third-generation Skoda Fabia, take the remote and locate the opening point along the edge of the shell. Insert a small flat screwdriver into the slot and gently pry to separate the two halves.

Once open, locate the button cell battery, usually a CR2032 type. Remove the flat battery, taking care of the position and polarity indicated inside.

Insert the new battery and finally close the remote by pressing the two parts together until they click. Press the buttons to check the proper functioning of the remote and ensure that the vehicle opens and closes regularly.
