How to Replace the Key Battery of a Skoda Fabia

The first step in replacing the key battery of a Skoda Fabia is to insert a flathead screwdriver into the side where the ignition key usually rests. With the screwdriver inserted, lever it outwards to open the remote cover and easily remove the battery. Then, insert a new battery, model CW2032, and close the remote key cover. You can now approach the Fabia to open and close the car. If the remote does not work despite the new battery, reprogramming may be necessary.
