In today's article, we will show you how to replace the battery of the Skoda Fabia 3rd series. For this operation, you will need a 10mm wrench and a 13mm socket wrench. To replace the battery, first lift the hood and secure it with the appropriate locking rod, then lift the cover of the negative battery terminal, remove the clamp using the 10mm wrench, once the negative terminal clamp is removed, remove the positive terminal clamp. Now, remove the securing pin located at the bottom of the battery using the 13mm socket wrench with extension to remove the securing bolt and be able to remove the pin, at this point you can remove the old battery and replace it with the new one, once the new battery is inserted, reinsert the locking block, and then reconnect the terminals tightening them with the 10mm wrench.
