To replace the engine air filter in a third-generation Skoda Fabia, turn off the engine, wait for it to cool, and open the bonnet. Locate the air filter box, situated in the engine bay and connected to the intake duct.

The position and fastening system may vary depending on the engine type. Loosen the screws or unclip the clips holding the cover, and if necessary, free the duct that obstructs access.

After lifting the cover, remove the old filter element and clean the inside of the housing, removing dust and any debris. Then insert the new filter, ensuring it fits correctly in place.

Finally, close the container, tighten the fastenings, and reconnect any components that were removed.
