Skoda Roomster - Video tutorial
Model: Skoda Roomster
MK 1
- Years 2006-2015 On this Skoda Roomster, the power steering pump fuse is blowing; we need to be careful not to jump to conclusions and change the pump right away, as it may not be the cause of the problem. This fuse also powers the engine oil separator, which is located at the back of the engine block, under the intake manifold; so we need to work from underneath. We remove the three bolts that hold it in place, a connector, and a tube. You can find this part, for example, on tarostrade. It costs 20.01 euros plus 6.49 euros for delivery, which is not comparable to the price of the power steering pump. The test that the YouTuber did to verify that the problem was indeed this was to disconnect the wire on the oil separator and try to start the car, attempting to steer. If the fuse no longer blows, then it is the fault of the oil separator and you can proceed with the replacement.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford EcosportFirst remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base. by ScegliAuto More videos
