To reset the tire pressure light on a Smart ForTwo, start by turning on the instrument panel without starting the engine. Look for the reset button located in the center console. Once found, press and hold the reset button for a few seconds. During this time, the tire pressure light on the dashboard should start flashing. Continue to hold the button until the light stops flashing and goes off completely, indicating that the reset has been successfully completed. This process may take up to 10 seconds. After releasing the button, turn off the instrument panel and then turn it back on to verify that the tire pressure light has indeed been reset. If the light remains on, repeat the process making sure to follow all the steps correctly.
