How to open the front bonnet of the Smart Forfour for maintenance and top-ups? Follow these steps: pull the plastic levers (located at the sides of the front grille) towards the centre of the grille. Once the catches at the front are released, the bonnet will drop down, then slide it as shown in the video. Once opened, perform the maintenance on your car. To reassemble: slide the plastic cover back over the front of the car. Finally, close the bonnet levers.
