It is common to see the outer plastic of the door panel on a Smart break, as it is made of plastic and is very sensitive to impacts. Today, you will learn how to replace the broken panel with a new one. First, you must remove the handle to access the screws that prevent the panel from being removed.

Once the handle is set aside, you can start (you may use a plastic lever) to pull outward to release the clips that hold the panel securely. It is advisable to start from the top and gradually work your way down to release the clips evenly.

Replacing the Gear Knob on the Renault Espace
