How to Remove the Door Panel on a Smart?

You can remove the door panel on a Smart by loosening the screws that secure it to its housing: these screws will be located under the triangular panel near the rearview mirror, next to the window switch panel, and in the central lower part of the panel.

Once loosened, disconnect all the components underneath to detach the panel and insert the new one. The new panel can then be securely fixed and connected to ensure everything functions correctly.
