How to remove the rear headlamp bulb of a Smart Fortwo? Let's look at replacing the damaged part. Remove the plastic panel covering the rear headlamp (boot). Once the cover is removed, disconnect the bulb holder; take out the bulbs from the metal bulb holder (rear of the headlamp). Replace the damaged bulbs with new ones of the same size and voltage, preferably of good quality. Finally, refit the bulb holder and close it with the headlamp inspection cover. Check the operation of the replaced bulbs.
