How to Remove the Front Bumper on Smart Fortwo

Here’s how to proceed if you want to remove the front bumper of a Smart Fortwo. Remove the front bonnet and secure it, then lift the car on a jack. Unscrew the screws located in the openings of the doors (on the sides). Once the screws on the side of the doors are removed, take off the central trim and unscrew the screws inside it (remove the pins located at the bottom of the bumper). Pull the bumper away from the bodywork with your hands. Carry out maintenance and refit the new front bumper with the trim and all the securing screws.
