Engine Mount Replacement for Smart Fortwo

In this video, you will learn how to change the engine mount on your Smart Fortwo. First, remove the rear bumper to gain access; unscrew the bolts of the metal stabiliser bar and remove it. Next, detach the exhaust and disconnect it from the exhaust manifold: to access the engine mount bolts, you need to move the bracket covering the mount. Now, unscrew the five bolts of the mount: two on the chassis and three on the engine. Lift the engine with a jack and unscrew the bolts to remove the mount.
