How to Replace the Front Bulb of a Smart

Before you can start, you need to exit the cabin of your Smart and head to the front. Begin by unfastening the catches that secure the front bonnet, then remove it. This will give you access to the rear of the headlamp.

Next, remove the rear cover of the bulb. Then, pull the bulb out of the socket.

This will expose the bulb. At this point, disconnect the corresponding electrical connector, and you will have completed the disassembly.

To fit the new bulb and reassemble everything, follow this procedure in reverse, and the replacement will be complete.
