How to Reset the Oil Service Light on a Smart?

Model: Smart Smart 451 - Years 2007-2015

To reset the Oil Service light on a Smart, turn on the instrument cluster and press the button located to the left of the instrument cluster twice in quick succession. Next, turn off the car and hold down the same button. Then, turn the car back on and hold the button for a few seconds. The number indicating the remaining kilometres until the next oil change will change to 9,320 miles: at this point, the reset of the Oil Service light will be complete. Always perform the reset after changing the oil.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
