In this video, you can see how to replace the radio speakers located in the front door of the 2008 Smart 451. First, if you cannot remove the entire door, take a screwdriver and break the outer casing of the speaker. The process is simple because the outer casing is made of plastic. Next, proceed to break the cone with the screwdriver. At this point, you only need to break the plastic rods that support the speaker. Once this is done, you can disconnect the speaker's electrical connector. Now, remove the plastic ring around it and clean the area well. Take a pair of pliers and remove the corners. Replace the default connector of the Smart and fit the Fast connectors; proceed to install the new speaker; fit a trim that matches the vehicle.
