Removing the Smart Fortwo 451 soft top

In this video tutorial we will see how to remove the hood of a Smart Fortwo 451, in simple steps. First we open the car doors and go to open our hood; then we are going to unscrew the internal screws of the rear spoiler with a screwdriver, in order to remove it. At this point we can remove the side uprights and place them inside the boot lid, as shown in the video; now we remove the fixing pins of the rear supports and unscrew the additional fixing screws of the hood that we find on the back. We just have to remove the hood and its mechanism.

Remove a Rear Light from a Volkswagen Touran

Remove a rear light from a Volkswagen Touran to replace the damaged bulbs. Open the boot lid, and using a lever, remove the plastic cover of the rear light. Unscrew the securing bolts located at the side of the rear light with a screwdriver (using a socket spanner or screwdriver with a bit). Once the light is free from any constraints, detach it from the bodywork (disconnect the relevant power connectors). Replace the damaged bulbs with identical ones in size and voltage. Finally, reassemble the light and reverse the assembly of the other parts.
