How to open the front hood of the Smart Fortwo

In this video tutorial we will see how to open, in simple steps, the front hood of a second series Smart Fortwo, without the use of any tools. To do this, we will press on the side plastics of the front grille, in order to unlock the hood opening; after which it will be sufficient to lift the front hood in order to remove it, as shown in the video. At this point we will go to reassemble it, applying the reverse procedure: let's position it in its seat until it is correctly hooked, locking the levers that we find inside the front grille, as in the video.

Let’s see how to dismantle the heating radiator on a Mini Cooper. First, remove the plastic cover of the centre tunnel (located under the centre tunnel on the left). Unscrew the securing screws with a screwdriver, and remove the black plastic cover that hides the heating radiator.
