How to remove the battery of a Smart ForTwo

Model: Smart Smart 451 - Years 2007-2015
Part: Battery

Before we can begin, we will have to go and open the passenger door of our Smart ForTwo. Let's start by moving the passenger foot mat, then removing the underlying cover. After that, we will have to disengage and remove the cover of the positive pole of the battery as well. Once this is done, we will have to unscrew and remove the screws that secure the two poles to the battery, and then disconnect them. At this point, we will have to unscrew and remove the bolt that secures the battery fixing bracket. When we have completed this step, we will have to extract the battery itself from its seat, and we will have finished the disassembly.
