In this brief and simple guide, learn how to remove and replace the bulbs of the central instrument panel controls of the Smart Fortwo. First, get inside the vehicle and start by removing the central plastic cover, prying at the sides with something thin; then disconnect the electrical connectors located underneath, as shown in the video. At this point, remove the rear cover to access the small bulb-type bulbs; remove them and replace them with new ones, inserting them and turning the bulb holder to secure them!
