How to access the rear light cluster of a Smart 451? When you open the rear hatch, you will see small access panels corresponding to the light clusters, as shown in the video. Pressing the side tab allows you to remove the cap, giving access to the light cluster. Move the electrical connectors and wiring to reach the plate that holds the bulbs. They are usually Bosch Diederichs, but if you prefer, you can also install LED bulbs. The important thing is to never touch new bulbs with bare hands, as this will significantly shorten their lifespan. Once you have replaced them, put the plate back in place and close the plastic cap. The operation is complete.
