This brief video tutorial shows how to replace the gear knob on a Smart 453, produced from 2014 to 2022. This operation is valid for both the two-seater and four-seater versions. First, put the gear lever in the "N" position, then turn the lower part of the gear lever counterclockwise until you hear two "clicks". Once done, you can pull the old gear knob upwards to remove it; finally, to install a new gear knob, simply follow the reverse procedure.
