How to Remove the Radio from a Smart 450?

To remove the radio from the Smart, you need to pull out the climate control button panel, disconnecting its connector at the back to access the screws securing the trim around the radio. These trims can now be removed, allowing access to the screws underneath that secure the radio. The device can then be extracted from its housing, and the connectors at the back can be disconnected; at this point, you can connect the new replacement part and secure it with screws.
