In this tutorial, we can see how to replace the clutch actuator in the Smart ForTwo 451, a simple operation if you have good manual skills. First of all, lift the car on a bridge or with a jack, taking the necessary safety measures, then go under the engine compartment, locate the actuator in question, and mark its position. Next, disconnect the rear connector, unscrew the fixing bolts with a 10mm wrench, and remove the device from its housing. To install the replacement, simply follow the reverse procedure.
