To reset the Service light on a Smart 451, turn on the instrument panel by turning the key, then quickly press the button located at the bottom left of the instrument panel twice: after this, hold the same button for about ten seconds, then turn off the instrument panel. When the panel is turned on again, check that the Service light has been successfully reset: if the light is still on, simply repeat the entire process.
