In this tutorial, we can see how to replace the front suspension arm in the Smart ForTwo, a very simple and quick operation. First of all, we lift the side in question with a jack, taking all necessary safety measures, then we remove the wheel, detach the anti-roll bar link and remove the support for the bar itself. We then unscrew the three fixing bolts of the arm, using both an 18mm and a 19mm socket wrench, separate it from the chassis and, simply following the reverse procedure, we install the replacement.

To begin with, we enter the passenger compartment of our car from the driver's side and, after closing the windows and doors, you can insert the key and turn on the ignition (but not the engine!).
