How to replace the door handle cable of the Smart Forfour.

Model: Smart Forfour MK 1, W454 - Years 2004-2006

Let's briefly go over the instructions for disassembling and replacing the cable of the front door handle of the Smart Forfour. First, we open the front door and begin by removing the inner and outer panels of the door. To do this, we remove the side plastic cover and unscrew the fastening screws, as shown in the video. At this point, we disconnect the cable from the handle by sliding it out with the sheath to remove it and replace it with the new one. Then, we reassemble the new cable with its corresponding sheath, attaching it to the handle hook and reassembling the door panels!
