Where is the Gear Actuator Located on the Smart ForTwo?

As shown, the actuator is located at the lower part of the vehicle, right on the gearbox, and is accessible by going underneath the engine compartment. To remove it, first lift the rear of the vehicle, then locate the indicated connector and disconnect it. Next, unscrew the two fixing bolts with an E10 socket, separate the actuator from the bracket, and fit the replacement part if necessary.
