How to Replace the Radio in a Smart

Model: Smart Smart 450 - Years 1998-2007
Part: Car stereo

Open the glove compartment and pull it fully out. Now, slightly lift it upwards to remove it from its guides. Using a hex key, apply pressure on both holes located at the bottom of the stereo, first on one and then the other, pulling the stereo towards you to unlock it. Now disconnect the various power and antenna connectors and set aside the original radio. Connect the connectors to the new stereo and insert it into its housing, locking it into place. Refit the glove compartment into its guide.
